The Devil May Cry
This is the original gothic horror classic, and there is much to be said for originals because
sequels seem to disappoint so often. The hero, Dante, is decended from the devil-knight who
fought and imprisoned the Devil and his legions. Ah yes, you guessed it - the
hordes have been released in the new millennium and Dante with his sword must do
battle. Additional "living" weapons are both powerful but at the same time, attempt to
defeat the user. This complex and interesting character has many fans. It has been said
that Dante's gaze is so menacing that "even the Devil may cry".
