Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly
This one is not due to be released until next month but it promises to be the penultimate horror survival game and so it's on our Halloween page. The first Fatal Frame was so upsetting that one reviewer refused to complete it. This one promises to be equally horifying. The back story of Crimson Butterfly is of the sacrifice of one twin by another to neutralize an unnamed evil. Of course something goes wrong and an entire village disappears. Cut to the current action. Enter Mio and Mayu Amakura, twin gifted sisters. One day while walking Mayu spots a crimson-colored butterfly and follows it into a dense forest. Mio follows and together they uncovered the remains of the abandoned village. Now, they find themselves trapped in the lost village while the day of a new ritual is fast approaching. How will their tale end? Dum de dum dum.
